1) Stillen POP Charger 2) Boost Leak Tester (and rent air comp from Home Depot) 3) Fuel Pressure guage -Don't waste money on getting an expensive one. A mechanical oil pressure guage from AutoZone will do the trick to diagnose the condition of your fuel pump. 4) NGK PFR6B-11B Spark Plugs 5) Timing Light 6) 120k mile service kit 7) Blitz R-VIT 8) Blitz SBC-iD 7) B&B or Specialty Z Catback (with resonators) 8) SZ Testpipes (keep your stock cats for passing emissions) 9) 555cc Injectors and new ECU chip
At this point you'll be a couple thousand (at least) into your Z. You'll probably have compiled a list of little issues with your car (from worn interior to small dents on the outside). Take care of those. I don't feel you really 'need' a boost guage. If you mount the SBC and VIT in the lower din area then you'll be able to determine your boost pressure and playback peak (which is more important). Also on this setup shoot for 12psi and then go to 14-17psi with the 555cc injectors.
